OK, I followed all of the instructions on converting AVI to MPG (VCD) which took 8hrs (it's supposed to, right?) then I split the movie into two files, and then used Nero's VCD burning option to burn the two files on seperate CDs. When I tried to play either of the CDs on my DVD player (Sony DVP-S560D), it doesn't read the disc. Any ideas why and how to fix it? Thanks in advance. -Derek

Your player can't read CDR. Try to use CDRW. I found that Mr. Write 4X CDRW best. Check this link for more information. http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayers.php?DVDnameid=437&Search=Search&list=0
