    Every time I capture from a DVD video, I get purple and sometimes green scanlines on my video. Why is this, and could someone please help me as to getting rid of these annoying lines.

    DVDS are copy protected with macrovision surely youve heard of it
    Try ripping dvd with smartripper instead of capturing quality will be better and no macrovision
