seems so simple but ???

cant belive im even asking this but i'm stuck anyhow .
i want to get some of my svcds on to my hard drive but when i copy and past them on to the desktop i get an error saying cannot copy avesque 1 invalid ms dos function or something ... Anyone encountered this problem before and if so what could i be doing wrong .

Are you copying just the DAT file's or are you copying all of the disk, better to make an Image copy with some CDR software if you just want to store them.

Those disks are multi track, you could not copy the files back to a CDR anyway, it would take an VCD authoring program to make another copy.

i was trying to copy the whole disk . I want to be able to watch the movies off my hard drive as my cd drive is slow and i think it makes the films glitchy so i dont think making an image would work do u have any other suggestions ???
