Well you could split it into 8 CDR's if you wanted too..

    but most people use 2

If you have a DVD quality Mpeg, and its 80 minuets long, then it will fit on 1 CDR (VCD) you only need to split them if they are over 80 minuets.

  3. who'd want to watch a movie that you had to change the discs on 7 times?

changing 3-disc svcd's is bad enough..

if you're looking for "dvd quality" mpegs, you can get amazing results ripping a DVD and encoding to SVCD, mpeg-2. you can get about 40 minutes on a disc that way.

check the links at the side of the page, they'll help you..

  4. You can get 90 minute Disc's but even then the amount of disc you have may put people off watching it. Perhaps you should reduce it too around 2/3 discs. This seems to be the max people will put up with

    Gosh, you lazy lot....

You have the latest block buster movie, and don't want to get out of your chair to change disks. 8)

Why don't you invest in a good disk changer then... ? I have one, all I do is shout "Change the disk" and the wife changes it
