Why is there a huge difference in picture quality with stills (3.3megapix) imported in Premiere 6.01 and Nero? I just did a test using Nero on standard settings, loaded raw .jpgs and have a nice, clean picture. But imports into Premiere with transitions turn out "not as nice". I can't find any info on how to clean them up, or otherwise change settings in Premiere to have them look nice. Any ideas?

premiere is done for video and as such reduces the size of you pics so they are the same size as your project... that might be why you aren't getting them the way you want

I use Ulead's DVD Picture Show, as it great for still in vcd foramt , is super easy to work with, but has limited transitions, but menus are a snap to make for basic slide shows.
