  1. I wonder if I can use merge and cut to make the video scenes, then demultiplex.

Then using the m1v as video and mp3 as audio, multiplex it.

Can I burn it to VCD?

MP3 isn't a supported format for VCD and is not usable within TMPGEnc. Decompress your mp3 file to an uncompressed WAV first and then multiplex the video and audio together.

You must also ensure that the video meets VCD standards (e.g. 352x288, 25fps PAL).

  3. Yes, convert your MP3 to WAV, 224 kbs bitrate, sample rate 44khz then TMPGenc will be able to use it.

  4. Hehe, my first ever "music video" was done like that, only I used VDub to merge the scenes. You can actually see it at:

Under "Apache Video Intro" download MOVIE #1

It ain't precision work, so I am never doing that again. I am lucky it came out like that

  5. If you want video scenes to a MP# or other music, most good video editors can do this very easily. Ulead MediaStudio Pro or Adobe Premiere.
