I was just wondering what the Floating Point option does in TMPGEnc, and what are the benefits of using it.

I think if your cpu is fast enough in floating point unit, you can enable it and the compression will be faster....

I think (correct me if I'm wrong) it actually is something you can activate which SLOWS DOWN encoding, but will result in a more stable picture.
If you leave the mouse over the words or button for this, I think a message to this effect comes up...
but correct me if I'm wrong...
