  1. Hi mate

    there is very basic editing of real media files in real producer. You can extract clips from a file , then merge them together. It can however be time consuming . Don't expect professional editing type applications for this format.

  2. You might convert (or import if possible) these into a real video editor, edit, then reencode to rm or another format. If faced with this task I would convert to AVI in a lossless format like huffyuv, edit with MediaSTudio Pro, then export to real or whatever. If you use a lower end video editor like Pinnacle Studio 7 you might have to pick a mainstream codec like Indeo but the process is the same and Studio outputs to popular formats like Real & Quicktime (but the mpeg encoding is rather poor - export to AVI then use TMPGenc for MPEGs).

    Thanx. I was trying to convert my RM file into a .avi file, but its took me a hour to get bout 6 mins of film done.
