Could someone tell me which one of these is better for archiving VHS tapes on to SVCD? The ATI is much cheaper it says it hooks up to a VCR just like a regular capture card. Will the more expensive have that much better of quality? (looking at Circuit City's ads)
ATI Tech Wonder VE TV Card (Brand/Model: ATE 100703102CCS) $50
**OR**
Dazzle USB Digital Video Creator (Brand/Model: DZL DM4100) $200
Thanks.

I would get the ATI because it is a pci capture card, usb will give you
the worst video quality(1394 Firewire is the best). If you get the ATI
DO NOT load the drivers that come with the unit, download them from ATI.com
