Hi,
I have an avi file that plays ok in WIndows Media. If I try to play it in any other player i.e.. DiVx it says it's not a proper file. If I try to encode it as an MPG with TMPGEnc it freezes at frame 33 everytime. If I use other "avi fixers" I get an error that the audio stream is problematic.
Any ideas on how I can fix this file? Odd that Windows media player plays it ok. Let me know if you need any further info.
Thanks,
~dev

have you tried separate the audio?

Fixed it. Turns out the file was n ASF format. I was able to convert it to a proper AVI using an older version of Virtualdub.
Thanks,
