If the movie is less than 80 minutes, it can be fit on 1 disk using the standard VCD Specs.

If it is greater than 80, it will be two or more cd's.

You could drop the bitrate, create an XVCD, and maybe fit it on 1 cd.

Use a bitrate calc. If u tell it how long the video is and how many CD"s u want, it will tell u the maximun bitrate u can use.

U don't need to use this if ur movie is 80<

  3. FIRST OF ALL...DONT EVEN THINK OF LOWERING THE BITRATE TO ENCODE DVD TO VCD TO FIT ON 1 CD

BECAUSE THE QUALITY WILL LOOK LIKE SH1T!!!

THONK ABOUT USING 2 OR MORE CDS TO GET YOUR BITRATE

  4. I burn (with NERO) whole VCD PAL movie (and subtilte) on 1 CD (700mb/80min)!!!!
I used the template "Sefys SxVCD" or SeVCD to fit 1 movie on 1 CD.

  5. I just fitted 95 min movie to 74 min cd using SeVCD template, and the mpg file was only about 645 megs! I used 128kbps sound and CQ_VBR 50. Plays great in my Pioneer dv-525.

  7. You can download that Template in the VCDhelp - Tools section, it's free, you might also like to try KVCD's Templates, they can provide much more movie per CD.
