  1. im totally new and just done my 1st experiment

i decoded 699mb jeepers creepers 1 hour 23 minutes in 2 hours 40 minutes with tmpg thing & i used that template from kmcv is it place cant remember sorry (im new!) right and i did settings as it would fit on to 1 cd
folllowed all the advice i read from these boards about vcd (very good guides btw) & i was expecting a end file of just under 680mb but i got a file that is 575mb and the quality is good for size but i opened it in my ati player and it said 1 hour 23 minutes long but when i ripped it to vcd it says 57.57.27 im confused because i put cd in dvd player and that also said 57.57.27 errr i cant skip through film on dvd player (that pisses me off ) to check to see if entire film was recorded to vcd is it and is this a trick to fool dvd player ???

    im totally confused

does these guides mean i can record a whole film 1 hour and half to cdr to watch on pc and not dvd player

  2. it worked damn good quality and very watchable but every 5 seconds it seems to slightly judder then go,s back to normal only time you can really tell its not a dvd is when the picture is really dark and u see loads of squares apart from that im pleased

    thanks 4 guides on here

file size was 699 mb avi jeepers creepers ntsc widescreen 1h23m

    encoded with kvcd cq pal 352 x 480 16.9*ntsc
    23.976fps
    1075 kbits/sec
    80 quality
    audio 112

    encode time 2h40m

file expected was just under 700mb but got 575 why is that ?
does this mean i could reencode it at a higher bitrate & still fit it on a cd
is it the estimated file size thing dont work properly in tmpenc ?
