    having trouble converting LOTR.AVI to vcd. When loaded avi through Vdub it informs me there is a problem with the audio encoded incorrectly with VBR. When Ive tried to convert it with TMPGE tthe sync goes out by a long way, Im sure someone outthere has encounted this and solved it, if you could help me out, greatly appreciated.

  2. using VirtualDub go to the Audio menu choose Full Processing mode.. go to the settings for the audio and change it to 44100 16bit high quality.. go to File : save WAV.. use the WAV for your audio in TMPGEnc.

    Thanks Calamari I'll give that a go and so how we do. True, so true about the posting , one was not thinking straight I was too annoyed at wasting so much time on lotr converting.
