Now, I know what this sounds like, but please bear with me, okay?
After trying WinDVD (freezes), the Matrox DVD player (to my experience can't handle VCDs very well?), the Creative Playcenter (as with the Matrox solution), the free I-VCD player (always uses the first found CD-Rom in the system which I don't want), I wanted to install my PowerDVD 2.5 (came with my now defunct GeForce videocard), I can't seem to find the serial number.
Having looked through the manuals for both the PowerDVD and the GeForce card, I have found nada serial number. Where is it written?!? Anyone knows?
Also, I do have the Hollywood+ card in the computer, but that will not install under Win2k for some reason.
Which road is best to go for wathcing (S)VCDS on the PC? PowerDVD (hunting serial number), or Hollywood+ (chasing a working installation)???
Regards,
Rico
