Hi all. i hope i've posted this in the correct place.. ><

Recently I have been getting problems with Powerdvd 6 which was working just fine about two days ago...

I used to have a codec pack installed, which was Ace Mega Codec Pack, of which I heard was very horrible AFTER I installed it. So I did my best to uninstall every little portion of it. That was a couple of weeks ago.

I am not sure what the issue is, but all Powerdvd does is keep crashing. It tells me it encounters a problem and needs to close.
It won't play video files, OR movies off of dvds discs.. I've checked and I do have the most recent divx...
I'm not sure if these screens will help anyone but I'll post them just in case.

I checked with both avicodec and gspot to see what the issue but I really don't know whats going on. >< I thought it said something about installing xvid so I did that, and one of my avi video files played for a little while but then the program crashed again.

I've also tried system restore points but that didn't work.
I am not sure what other information I need to slap down. I have a nvidia geforce fx 5200...

Any help would be extremely appreciated!!!!!
