limit DVD8072 problem

Hi. just got one of these DVD players, however i have some region 1 films. have done both the remote control hacks suggested here, & it DOES bring up a menu on the screen stating region2, however i cannot change this to anything else.

is it possible my player has a new firmware? anyone else had these probs

(p.s the hacks have tried are, open tray, press 8,4,2,1 then region

& 9,9,9,9 then region. both braught up the region menu but could not change.

I have the fast & the furious here to watch but only got it for 2 days (

just to let you know i had a play & figured it out.

instead of pressing region 1 - 9, once you have the region selection up on screen, press OK to toggle through the different regions.
