  1. i d/l this program cos ppl sae it enables asf files to be encoded. i spent 2hrs encoding this movie. when i tried to burn it into a cd, they warned me tat this movie isnt going to work on a vcd or dvd player. i don get it. is the tmpgenc 12a follow the white book or something? should i carry on wasting a lot of precious time encoding other asf files? some1 pls help....

  2. Try using TMPGEnc ver. 2.54a along with the VFAPI Plug-In, you can get it at www.tmpgenc.net/e_main.html this is what I use and have never had a problem.

  3. hey nightcrawler. thks. but...there was an error message when i tried encoding a file. the error message is "can't load P3Package.dll". can u help?
    btw, tried to install the VFAPI Plug-In but they said the system couldnt find the file specified. wat does tat mean?

  4. easiest thing to do is completely remove TMPGEnc and then reinstall. the plug in has too go into the same file as TMPGEnc. once you install the plug in you will see what look like a dos prompt titled TMPGEncVFP_Install.bat you will double click on this, the dos screen will open and say it has been installed. then you should be ready too go.

  5. thks. i did wat u said but as i said, an error message popped out when i tried installing the TMPGEnc-2.54.37.135-vfp. the error message said "error loading TMPGEnc Vfp, the system cannot find the file specified" wat does this mean? i d/l the TMPGEnc-2.54.37.135-vfp from the site u gave me.......

  6. it sounds like the tmpgenc program has not been opened yet. make sure too open it first and then download the plug in into the same file as tmpgenc and then open it into the same file.
