Is there a way to keep the dolby digital when converting vob files to MPG2?

As what Kdiddy said.
To answer the question though (so that nobody else asks it for a day or two), you cannot put Dolby Digital (aka A3C) onto a SVCD.
You CAN put Dolby Surround encoded stereo (which can be decoded by a Pro Logic decoder) onto S/VCDs but this is a very different thing to Dolby Digital. I suggest you look up http://www.dolby.com and read the tech documents to learn the difference.
