I don't know where to start. I have never had problems burning CDs before but now I can't seem to burn some movies that I have downloaded off the net. They are all .bin and .cue files. I have tried to burn these files more than 20 times already and each time I get an error message at the end, and the CD has not been burned at all. It also takes a long period to finish the finalizing stage, almost 10 minutes anymore. I have tried just extracting the the MPEG files themselves and burning them manualy using Nero's Super Video CD feature, but believe it or not I still got the same problem. I have tried to burn these CDs many times, and not once has anything been burned to them. Actually when I try to burn a CD, my drive is really quite. I don't hear the CD Spinning in the drive, the light blinks but the drive is quite. Then when the CD is done nothing has been burned, it's not even corrupted. Hell I'd take a corrupted CD anyday rather than a CD not being burned at all.

I'm including a linke that has a copy of my error log when attempting to burn the files using Nero. If you can help, please read this file.

    Nero Log: http://mikel.4mg.com/pub/NeroBurnLog.html

    Thanks, Mike.

  2. What version of Nero? If it is 5.5.8.2 (latest) check the misc tab - if "Cache files from disk & network" is checked uncheck it

Thanks for the info, but that didn't remedy the situation. I am able to burn other files using Nero ok, (IE same type of files) but these just won't do it for some reason. These are the error messages (which can also be found in the Log file) I get when it tries to finalize:

    - all writers idle, stopping conversion
    - Illegal mode for this track
    - Could not perform end of Disc At Once
    - Invalid writestate
    - Could not perform end of Disc At Once
    - Burn process failed at 1x (150 KB/s)
    - SCSI not using temporary buffers 20 out of 20 temporary buffers allocated

I also tried recording the Disk in TAO (Track-At-Once), but it says the medium is not supported and ejects the disk. I was afraid that my CD-RW drive might have been damaged, but I can tell it's not since I have recorded others since then. I also tried burning using CDRWin but the same problem came up, [No Burning to the CD took Place].

    I appreciate any futher input.
Thanks for all help in advance.
    Mike.
