I have read many articles before asking this so I'm not being lazy for sure
I just can't figure out how to make the resolution higher than 480x480 when I use DVD2SVCD 1.0.9 and CCE 2.50.01.00.
I mean there's a tab for bitrate , that's clear but where is the tab to set the resolution? Or am I not understanding something here!?
Here's what I want to do : I have the dvd "THE OTHERS" that has a resolution of 720x480. What I want to do is use DVD2SVCD & CCE to create a XSVCD (which is the name of the format I want according to what I read) since it goes over the Mpeg2 standard I'm aware it might not play in my dvd player but I don't care since all I want for now is to create the highest quality SVCD that I can and play it on my computer only.
So far I've been able to create a SVCD in 480x480 and it looks good but I'm just wondering about the pixels that flicker in the background when I get closer to the screen and that's why I'd like to make it better. I've already tried to raise the bitrate and it seems to make no difference.
I'd like to know if anyone has any recommendation for me to get the best quality possible in terms of the ratio between bitrate and resolution that I should use.
