CANT COVERT SVCD

Hi all iv been trying to take a svcd mpeg from disc to my compy then convert it using tmpge but i get the error message saying that its not supported. I managed to do this with the svcd mpegs before i burned them to cd , i burned cd1 and deleted the original file (stupid thing to do) when i copyed the mpeg from the cd to my hard drive it didnt work, does nero change the mpeg when its burning to cd?

The original MPEG2 file is changed to a slightly different format when you make a SVCD. To get a standard MPEG2 again just open the tools in TMPGEnc and do a simple Multiplex of the file as both the Video and Audio source. Select MPEG2 as the header and save it to your hard drive. It will work just like the original.
