  1. I am a complete newbie in the (s)vcd world and I'm having problems with TMPGEnc.
I made a mpg file of 372MB with my WinTV PVR (svcd setting), which I can't burn with Nero. It "complains"about the standard. I then tried to repair the file with TMPGEnc, in File>MPEG Tools>Simple Multiplex, following the guide in VCDHelp.
The multiplexing however stops at 80% resulting in a file of about 300MB.After the process is complete I also get a warning, saying "2s packets cause bufferunderflow".
Although I can burn it to cd now with Nero and the svcd quality is rather good, I am missing a part of the file.
I hope that someone can help me with this. Am I doing something wrong or has some setting to be altered ?
    TIA

    Hope this will help:

    1. Burn your original mpg file with Nero. If it complains about not being standard, just turn off the standard compliant. Just go to File & select complilation Info, a new screen will pop up, & uncheck the box "create standard compliant CD". You will be burning an XSVCD.

    2. If the above fails or your player does not play XSVCD, I suggest you make your mpg standard compliant. choose the SVCD template in Tmpgenc, & re-render a new mpg file which will be standard.

    Good luck.
