I have a AVI file as follows:
    Audio format : MPEG Layer-3, 128kBit/s, 48000Hz, Stereo
    Video Format: 576x304, 24bit, 119548 frames, 29.97fps, 178kbs, DivxMPG4

I have successfully converted the AVI file to MPEG file by using Tmpgenc, however, no sound was produced after conversion.

I tried to burn the AVI file directly to a CD-R by using Nero burning, but error occured when encoding. That's why I need to convert the AVI file into MPEG format first.

    Please help / comment.

    Many thanks.

  2. open file in vdub, under audio select full processing mode, still under audio click conversion>44100hz, now click file save wav
Now open tmpgenc and load your avi file as video source and tyour new wav file as audio source and encode. Make sure you have loaded the correct template
