Problems joining MPEGs...

I'm using TMPGEnc to join my MPEGs. It works fine until I playback the joined file. Where the two files were joined there's a very brief high pitched beep. Is there a way to elimiate it? I checked the tutorial that's posted and it didn't metion this. Thanks for any help.

I'm familiar with this problem, and it's not easy to eliminate, this is usually the cause of two files not matching exactly, or the joined point is not a quiet one.

The only way I can suggest you fix it, is to edit the audio track and remove that beep and then multiplex the audio back into the video.

How would I edit the audio? There's speech and and music playing at the same time. Could I rip the two audio tracks as .wav and then join just the audio? And then the audio to the video? Do you know what program I could use to do that?

What I did was use TMPGEnc to demuplex the audio into an MP2 file, then use WinAMP to create a pure WAV from the MP2 (using the DiskWriter plugin) and then use CoolEdit to edit the WAV and remove that microsec of a beep, and then encode the WAV into MP2 using TMPGEnc (you can use other tools) and then multiplex the new MP2 into the M1V file (created when you first demuplexed the original joined file).
