    hi can anyone help? i use smartripper for ripping dvd's and have no problems, however i have tried to rip dvdr's with smartripper and have had no success, infact smartripper locks up when i try to rip dvdr's. Am i doing something wrong? or is there btter software i could be using?

    Actually, you need different software to rip DVD-Rs. Create a directory on your HD, bring up MY COMPUTER, highlight your DVD-ROM, go the the VIDEO_TS directory, highlight the files you want to rip, then drag them to your previously created directory. Works everytime. However, Smartripper should work the way you are using it.
