  1. I have strayed a little over 700 mbs and I was hoping that I might possibly be able to squeeze in 19 more megs on my cdr.

  2. You can overburn,do so at your own risk.Or you could reencode using
    TMPGEnc and Kwag's template.Read"How to Convert"

  3. well it depends on 2 things: 1 what r u trying to put on your cd (if it's a vcd or svcd it will fit anyways) 2If it's not (s)vcd can your cd burner over burn?...

  5. You overburn with Nero. It is the burning prog that overburns not the encoding prog

  6. if you look at the preferences in nero there is a tab that's called expert features you'll find it there.
    but as i said earlier for a (s)vcd your file can be bigger than 700 megs. on a 700 meg cdr you can fit about 800meg

  7. Woah! I never new about this feature, I'm new to burning -_-;;

    I'll check it out and se how it goes o.O;

  8. I think I have it set up right.

    So I just set the maximum amount of time to burn the cd, right?
    everything might possibly go well then o.O;

    Ok with a 700mb 80min cdr you can fit 811mb of mpg 1 or 2 burned as a vcd or svcd, and it is not overburning, it is the way it stores the differnt formats. that 700mb is for data only.

  11. one word VCDEasy

    but you also most find out if your burner SUPPORTS overburning - if you don't you may end up breaking it (no lie)

    VCDEasy - is much better than Nero (if anyone was interrested)

    It might work out more economical to get an oversize CDR!

  13. @banjazzer: he's only asking about going 19 meg over 700 -- if his cdr supports overburn then he will be able to pull it off on 700 meg cdr's with Nero or VCDEasy - just have to set them to do "overburn" (thats not a default setting)

  14. The biggest question is it to be a (s)vcd or just burned on a cd. cause i'm wondering why the 719meg is a prob.

  15. I'm just making a regular VCD o.O;

  16. then 719meg is no prob it will fit on the vcd. as i stated earlier you can fit about 800megs on a 700meg cd when making a vcd. don't overburn you don't need to.
