    I am new to ripping dvd's. been successfull with full movies etc.
    I would like to just rip out a chapter or two on a few of my dvd's.
    anyone have any suggestions on how to do this?
    The way I currently have ripped the whole dvd was by following the
    howtos on this webpage.

    Use smartripper. It has an option where you can choose to rip whatever chapters you like.
    There are links to download it in the DVD RIP section
