    Hey

    Been trying to convert divx 5 avi to svcd using tmpgenc, but all i get is a blank screen. I have installed divx 5, any ideas?

    have you tried change the directshow priority?

    do you get any picture if you select file->preview?

    soz it is not divx 5 , but divx 4, but i have installed that as well

    no i dont get a picture in preview

    Did you set DirectShow ?

    Select options > environmental settings
    click the VFAPI plug-in tab
    right click the "DirectShow" and select higher priority, do this several times until its at the top with a value of 4

    soz it is not divx 5 , but divx 4, but i have installed that as well
    Why not Insall the Nimo codec pack, at leased you will have all of the codec's then
