How Do i rip DVD?

This is really pissing me off how do i do it. I've used smartrip and all i've goten is vob files or something like that

Suggest you read the Guides posted on this web site.

After you get the VOB files on your hard drive, you still need to convert them to mpg, so you can burn them as VCD.

Again, there are just too many options what you can do. Read the Guides first.

VOBs are a good thing! Just use DVD2AVI to frameserve to TMPGenc. If that sounds like gibberish, just follow the conversion How To. Once you get it working, you'll be amazed how easy it is.
