I've heard mention of a MPEG-2 plugin/codec for use with TMPG-Enc. Can anyone direct me to where it can be found?

well there's an mpeg codec included in tmepgenc if i remember right, but it expires after 30days or so...
there are mpeg 2 codec in the tools section if thats what you mean -
The freeware version of TMPGenc has a 30 day limit on the mpeg2 encoding (resetable by a registry tweek). The commercial version does not have a limit on mpeg2. Both will do mpeg1 with no limits.
If you want to play mpeg2 in windows media player it is separate - the codec is in the tools section.Panasonic DMR-ES45VS, keep those discs a burnin'
