    If I have already compiled a VCD in Mpeg2 how do I then decompile it to burn an Mpeg1 or the other way round.
    Simply put once I have mada a VCD in mpeg 1 or 2 how do I convert it back to an AVI file on my HD??

    try dvd2avi for mpeg2; virtualdub for mpeg1
