I want to put a DIVX AVI movie onto a VCD but I noticed that the movie is letterboxed. I WANT the letterboxing on the VCD also.
Will this just happen automatically or will the movie get squeezed? Is there anything I can do about this?
I have an assortment of encoding software but only the latest Nero to do my burning.

If you follow Stinky's How To guide for burning divx files to vcd, it will end up letterboxed, and centred too. Looks fine too.
Nothing if not difficult -
if using tmpgenc be sure to use this settings under settings->advanced and it will be exact same as the video source
the source aspect ratio and the video arrange method
