  1. Hello,
Does anyone know which CDRs to use to play VCDs on the Toshiba SD3109??? I've tried a couple of different CDRs, but they dont seem to work. I however have a Star Wars IV VCD original and that works fine when I play it. So how is it that it doesn't recognize the VCD I've burned? I've read articles here which say to use CD-RW or Princo Silver/Blue CDRs?? Do these solutions really work for this player?? What's the best solution to go with before I jump into all this. Please help you . Thank you

  2. Well, I've tried Memorex CD-RW 700 MB and though the player recognizes it and plays it, the picture is blocky, gets cut and the noise has the same problem. Should I use a different brand of Memorex??? Or should I splurge some money on the Princo CDRs??? Want to be sure what's the exact brand I should be using to get burned VCDs to work on my DVD player. I know from reading here that there's a difference between Original VCDs ( also called Pressed VCDs ) than the ones you burn with a CD writer - so that answers the question I had raised earlier.

Please can someone tell me what type/brand of CDRW to use or what type of Princo CDRs to use??

I've tried a couple of CDRs of different quality and they haven't worked - so I'm a little skeptic about the Princo CDRs

    Thanks,
