    This might sound stupid to most people but is there anyway of protecting
    a copied vcd, as I lend copies to friends but have found that people are making copies of my copies and selling them can this be stopped..

    Stop loaning to your friends.If there was a way to protect them then the movie studios wouldnt have to worry about people burning them.You could just let them come over and watch them with you.
