XBOX and Macrovision

Is there a way to make the XBOX macrovision free or is it already macrovision free? Does anyone know?

just don't get the "Video CopyMaster" (if thats feasable or applies in your
case) by SIMA**. I don't know if it applies. But just in case, I thought I'd
share MY experience with you.

Its a crock!! I've ben trying it out on a few movies I just bought on Fri.
and (TOM RADER, widescreen verion of ANIMAL HOUSE)

** SIMA - thouse that have this device. Please don't assume that it actually
works on SOME vhs movies and/or but not others. Because in short,
for ie, SUPERMAN the movie worked fine, but the above two (for starters)
did NOT work. But, when I removed the SIMA box and re-capped from
my DV cam, the movie SUPERMAN still recorded. But both the above
movies didn't.
I've also tried capturing from the movies that did work, ie SUPERMAN to
see if there is ANY noticable difference in quality, since this unit is suppose
to improve or eliminate noise and other jiba-jab from your tapes, BUT
to my eyes, NO DIFFERENCE! I repeat, NO DIFFERENCE!! !! !!
So, basically, this device doesn't really work at all.
So, for anyone who's ben thinking about getting one, take it from me,
don't get it!!

I'm returning mine as soon as I have the time (tue or wed)
