please dont say try the svcd to dvdr conversion because it will not work
here are some of the things i have tried and the errors i have had
i am gonna restart from scratch but
1 i ran the mpegs from the svcd discs through vcd gear (everything ok)
2 joined them in dvd2av1 (tmpgenc will not except my audio file)
3 converted audio to wav (sound quality was poor) what is best prog to convert with
4 ran it through tmpgenc to get correct screen size got a file packet error about 8hrs in to encoding
is there anything other than tmpgenc that i can use as it just seems so buggy
can i use the mpa file from dvd2avi as my audio file in my dvd authoring prog and just encode the picture

You can use premiere if you have it to create a single DVD compliant mpeg2 file. Works for me.
