  1. Accidently ran onto Pioneer DV-341 for 59$ (display item) and couldn't resist - bought it. Now i have 30 days to test it and return if it has problems. I tried VCDs, SVCDs, DVDs - everything plays fine so far. The drawbacks are:
    1) it doesn't have a remote. And now i have a choice - either get original from pioneer (it'll cost me about 30$ with shipping) or get good programmable universal one to use with all my electronics (for about the same price)?
    2) it doesn't have a manual.

So what do you think? I found only 9 reviews for this model here.. It's not so popular as i understand. Should i keep it? Or better get DV-343 for 130$? If anybody own device like this - can you may be scan a manual?
Any thoughts, suggestions, ideas would be greatly appreciated by newbie like me..

    Thanks!

  2. I dont know anything about that particular player, but regarding the manual have you tried searching for it on the web. In the past I have been able to find quite a few manuals for electronic equipment.
