  1. hi im am new to this, here are a few questions i have. all help is appreciated.

    1. i recently burned BLACK HAWK DOWN onto a VCD. it was a avi then i converted using tmpeg. it looks good, but for some reason it came out fullscreen. how do i burn it to make it widescreen?
    2. if a SVCD or VCD plays on the computer, but not on a standalone player, does that mean its burned incorrectly? or does it just mean my DVD player doesnt support it?
    3. i want to burn a SVCD to a VCD(its for SPIDERMAN, but my player doesnt read SVCD's)), when starting tmpeg, do i select VCD, or SVCD?
    4. when using TMPEG, are TEMPLATES important?
    5. if the file i have is already split, do i still need to set the source range?

thanks for all the help, i am sorry for all the questions.

  4. If you want to convert as a vcd then choose vcd. I know that templates are explained on this site.

ANSWER> most likely if it plays on your computer it meansyour dvd player can't support it try reading the dvd compatability chart.
