APEX 1500 - DVD/R DVD/RW Media Compatibility

I have an APEX 1500 and I am trying to determine what DVD-R/DVD-RW media folks are using and their results. I am just trying to find alternatives

Here are mine. All burned with NERO in UDF/ISO mode

ESBUY - Generic DVD-R - Did not work
ESBUY - DVD/RW - Worked
Pioneer - DVD/R - Worked

If anyone has this same setup and would like their experience with different media, it would be greatly appreciated.

A friend of mine has the Apex 1500 and I've given him several movies on Imation CD-R and on Memorex CD-RW, all worked fine. My Apex AD-660 plays every brand I've ever used (except CompUSA, which wouldn't even BURN, but thats another issue LOL).

The Write quality on the ESbuy DVD-R is crap and your Apex will have problems reading it.

Any more? I know there are more Apex 1500 users that are burning DVD-R/DVD-RW's. Let us know what you are using and your results.
