Need help downloading streaming sports feeds

For many years now I've used the freeware program stream writer to download streaming radio broadcasts of various events, but lately some no longer work with stream writer.

Here are a few examples- ESPN radio fails in stream writer where it use to work fine. The others are audio only, but they have a static logo image in the feed that apparently streamwriter can't handle either.

I would like to be able to record these streams starting at a set time for a duration of 4 hours for example. Can anyone point me to a program/script that could handle that without crapping out in the middle?

Thank you! I had tried streamlink, but it kept dying in the middle. I will give this a try.
