  1. Is the quality of AVI suppose equal or close to DV quality?
I use Dazzle Dv.now AV to export the captured clips to Premiere 6.0 and then export the time line (after editing) to AVI (use MS AVI encoder). I found the quality of AVI playing in media player is not very good in full screen (i can see some horizontal lines there).
    1) Have i done something wrong? or the quality of AVI can't be improved?
    2) Shouldn't i use the MS AVI encoder in premiere when convert the timeline to AVI? If not, what other encoder should i use?
    3) Anyway other method i can do better quality of AVI?

  2. The quality of an avi file can be anything you like, there is no set resolution, framerate or codec like there is with VCD.
