I have four wmv files totaling 3.2GB which are one movie that I would like to watch on a DVD player.
How should I go about doing this?
Should I merge those files into a single wmv and then convert it to avi or DVD, I think DVD would be better because you never know if avi will play on DVD players...which freeware software should I use to get this done, and what would be the most easiest way to do this?

Remember that WMV can be compressed more efficiently than mpeg-2, so you may not be able to fit the full 3.2 GB of WMV onto a single DVD and maintain the quality.
Filesize = bitrate x running time. The longer the running time, the smaller the bitrate and therefore the lower the quality.
What is the combined running time of your WMV files ?Read my blog here.
