    I have set the tmpgenc to produce 16:9 movie. After the convertion, i don't see any different. It just like the normal 4:3 movie. Why?

    SVCD support only Displayed Aspect Ratio 4:3. I guess you try to make a 16:9 anamorphic XSVCD. Only few dvd players can play it properly.
