how should I start (M1) Mac

Hello everyone,

I've tried to get an overview, but I'm getting confused with the mass of information. There are so many tools and programs here, but which one is the right solution for me? I have an (M1) Mac and have already tried a few things, but sometimes fail to install them.

I don't want to use StreamFab (too expensive), which I have looked at and partly seen in the program that even tools are used, which are also presented here.

I just want to download a few streams from A****n. Do you have any suggestions for a solution for a Mac?

is it perhaps better to use Windows? Here it seems easy to me, because some tools can be executed directly and do not have to be compiled first
