colour problems

:o any body tell me why the colour in my 23.976 divx falls to pieces after convertion, the colours are all out lots of purple

I got the exact same problem. The DivX file is good quality but when converted with tmpgenc the picture gets corny and on one file a lot of colour mismatches like purple. How can you fix this?

Try change the directshow reader priority under optional -> environmental setting -> vfapi plugin (right click on it add increase it to 2).

if that won't help try reinstall divx 3.11 and also maybe the new 4 and 5 divx codecs.


also try use the search function and search for purple...
