I am extremely new with downloading movies from the internet.... is it possible to burn them onto cd and play in DVD/CD Home theater system??
Most of the files are in AVI and I can play them on PC but need to know if its possible to watch on normal TV through DVD/CD player
Thanks for your help

it is possible but you would have to convert the avi file to a vcd compatible file and burn it as a vcd which can be played in most dvd players.
Or if you have a dvd writer you could encode it ad a dvd compatible file and burn it as a dvd.
The programs on the tools page on this site will allow to convert the avi file in such a way. -
