  1. How do I separate vocals by different voice actors (for example, I have a video/audio file with the voice of Clancy Brown and Steve Blum, and I split the audio into two, one for each voice actor)?

questions - are they on separate tracks.ie left and right? Then that will be easy

If not does their dialog overlap? ie both talking at the same time - a lot of editing required

It's like this: Clancy talks first, then Steve. They don't talk at the same time.

    That's called editing.

  5. Also, are there other sounds in the background? Music, ambient noise, etc.? If not you can just open the track twice in an editor and silence one voice in one track, the other voice in the other track.

  6. Perhaps some machine learning (AI) based solution - something for automatic speaker recognition and separation .

Adobe Premiere and Davinci Resolve have scene cut detection. If there are camera switches for each talent then this might work as far as separating the video into multiple clips and rendering out the audio as needed. I have tried with Adobe but have no experience with Davinci Resolve.
