  1. I have a few movies on my computer that I would like to convert into VCDs. I am using the DivX to VCD all-in-one guide. The process works fine on most movies but there are a few movies that require specials codecs to run properly.

I can't seem to capture the audio for these movies. The first of these movies is Harry Potter, which requires an AC3 codec/filter. I am using a Creative SoundBlaster Live! Platinum 5.1, so I don't think it is a hardware thing.

The other movie I am having problems with is coincidentally The Others. this move requires me to install some OggDS.exe file. This is some sort of audio codec. This codec is also strange I can't seem to capture the audio with VirtualDub because of the codec either.

I could really use some help trying to figure out how to compensate for the codecs. I am using VirtualDub/TMPGEnc but don't care what I use as long as it works. Any help what-so-ever would be appreciated.

If you play a DivX with ogg or AC3 sound and can't hear the sound, you need to install the necessary codecs. If you can hear sound, your next step should be to try the guides on this site about converting these type of DivX! There is no point repeating the info here.
