How do I check for updates for ffmpeg and automatically install them? For jpgs and lossless webp files, how do I get the correct colors without adding extra commands? How do I make the process of making those files go faster without affecting the file size?

Faster? Do you mean transmit & receive faster? You cannot control the internet and people's connections.

You are putting the cart before the horse:
Adjust your quality based on your target bitrate, and adjust your bitrate based on your target/audience/device capability.

This compromise is similar to the tripartite constraint rule (fast v cheap v good, quality v size v complexity) I mentioned to you ~4 or 5 threads ago.
