Though this app kicks ass, how about disabling (or giving the user the option to disable) the always-on-top feature.

It's getting really annoying switching back and forth from Windows Commander to CDRWin to Photoshop to VCDEasy, with VCDEasy staying in the way every time.

Sorta defeats the purpose of Alt-Tab
Yes, I have a mouse, but there are alot of things the keyboard is faster at.

Otherwise, keep the new features coming!

  3. You can disable this. Just right click on the title bar (the area at the top of the window where it says "VCDEasy v1.0.9 by delphi.stuff"). There will be a option that says "Always on Top" - just uncheck it.

    Something else VCDEasy-related...

I've noticed TMPGEnc has an option to allow the reading of files over a network. It's enabled by default and I've never had a problem.

Today, I tried to generate a menu using VCDEasy from a file located on another computer, and it said it can't read files over a network. Why is this? Is this a unique property of VCDEasy, or is there something special about networked video files?

I can understand burning files over a network (though I do it all the time and have never had a problem) but reading/analysing files... Why does VCDEasy refuse to do this?

  6. This network files limitation comes from CygWin, the UNIX emulator used by some command line tools... As far as I know, CygWin currently still does not support network files, while VCDEasy can without problems...

Ahh, so it's not your program that is doing this, its the backend programs that don't like network files. Fair enough . Thanks for the reply! And thanks for VCDEasy - I use it for everything
